What important features are we missing?

I would like to see recurring entries for regular incoming payments, for example child benefit. The actual balance doesn’t always reflect this as it never takes into account that it comes in every 4 weeks.

Thanks

Is the physical assets UI live?

It would be nice to be able to filter your Committed Spending by Category - for example I have committed spending across multiple categories so it would be handy to see what is left to go in to each category.

Is this public yet?

No they missed the deadline.

Is the 8th October release still on the cards?

For sub-categories, yes.

Excited to give it a try!

Here’s a sneak peek:

Looks good, can you see spending history in the analytics tab the same way for sub categories as regular categories

Yes, if you tap, you get the histogram

Perfect can’t wait to test it out, is there a new target date for the assets UI or maybe a preview of the assets UI

Hi guys - subcategories are now live.

Trying it out now - unless I am missing something - I don’t think it’s going to work as expected

Yeah same, looks to be a bit different to what id expect personally. My full explanation in the other thread

I’d really appreciate the ability to, when setting category budgets, allocate a % of available budget to each (instead of a random monetary value).

This is an interesting idea!

Hi,

Some bugs:

  1. In analytics pie chart my subcategory is appearing as a separate section to its parent category, i.e. ‘supermarket’ subcategory appearing separate to ‘groceries’ which makes it look like I have spent way more on groceries than I have
  2. When selecting custom date range in analytics the arrow to change month keeps moving up or down depending on how many days in the month so it is more difficult to quickly scroll through months to select a range.

Suggestions:

  1. Shortcut to select last 12 months from today date range not just calendar year, also financial year would be helpful
  2. In analytics when you get to the bottom of a category tree i.e. subcategory or category with no subs, it would be good to be able to then see transactions grouped by merchant e.g. click on groceries, supermarkets subcategory, then I want to know how much I spent at Tesco, without then coming back out to analytics and sorting by merchant to find this

Sorry this is a bug - we are fixing it.

Alternatively, using the three month average spend for each category, the app could recommend budgets got each category?
