(Most-Wanted) Features

Hey @nilsej,

At the moment we use a system to manage our customer support so it is quite difficult to build on top of this. However, thank you for your feedback in regards to following up on technical issues, I will forward this to the team. We are also in the process of growing the customer service team so hope to put some strong process’ in place over the next month. :muscle:

Thanks

Lilli

Hey. I’d like to see an option where I can not only split transactions, but merge them as well. I bought a new computer from Apple lately and later realized that the payment was split by Apple and charged in more than one transaction.

Would be nice. I paid my Airbnb off in two separate transactions purely so I could say I spent less than I did :joy:

Hey @BendikHa

Can you explain a bit more how it was split?

I did that haha!

I always pay air bnb in two instalments now

When I ordered my new computer I got a free pair of headphones. The headphones shipped first so Apple charged me the prize of the headphones, when the computer shipped they charged me the price of the computer minus the price already charged for the headphones. Hope thar makes sense.

Interesting, totally makes sense!

So you would want the opposite of split - merge transactions. Definitely a Cool idea! Will share with the team

You got it!

I would also like an option to change my country in the backend myself. Now that I’ve moved back to the US for the semester I want my country changed back to the US. I reached out to support yesterday, but they have yet to get back to me.

Allowing me to do this manually would avoid me having to contact support, which would be great.

Hey

I can see that this has been resolved now.

We are happy to allow people to add bank accounts from the US and UK, however, we do not plan on making this a feature and cannot move people back and forth regularly.

Two installments directly after each other :joy: great idea

Also a good way of collecting your Avios points with your BA card

Is there any reason why a flag at the top and letting me pick is too difficult a feature to introduce?

Seems like a lot of hassle and foot stamping over something I see as relatively low work that’d draw a lot of expats towards the product.

To be honest, I say ‘we do not plan’, what I mean is it’s not a priority for us at the moment because it does not really effect enough current users, but that doesn’t mean it is not something the team would consider in the future.

We build a lottttt of features so who knows

With subscriptions, why aren’t there an option to choose every third month? I’d like that very much. Seems like a simple thing to add.

Hey @BendikHa

That shouldn’t be too difficult, I will share with the team

Yeah, quarterly, semi-annually and annually would be welcome!

Assuming they don’t all exist

The split transaction will only accept amounts of the same sign i would like the ability to post splits with a different sign ie When I pay Amazon i quite often have a gift voucher from say filling in a survey that has been offset and the purchase gets recorded at the net amount. I would like to record at the right amount and create a split adding the voucher value to income

Is it possible to have a notification/alert if a credit card you haven’t used for a while suddenly has a purchase? Maybe with a custom gap period?

This sounds good.

Our issue is that the sum needs to match that total. I am not sure if it would work in this case?

This is nice! We don’t have anything like this, but can think about it.

I guess you just add them together. One being a minus number the other being a positive number so would be easy to implement. At the momment two positive numbers or two negative numbers are being added togther.
