Hello Testers,

I have just enabled the Open Banking test migration flow to everyone who had previously messaged Lilli with their email address.

This is what you will see in the feed (force close and reopen the app if you don’t see it):

Banks under testing:

  • Barclays
  • Bank of Scotland
  • Royal Bank of Scotland
  • First Direct
  • Halifax
  • Lloyds
  • HSBC
  • Nationwide
  • Natwest
  • Santander

What are we looking for feedback on?

  • If the migration flow works, or not
  • How easy it was to perform
  • If your data after the migration is still the same or if you see any significant variations, missing or incorrect data

Thanks for helping us test! Looking forward to hear about your experience.

I’m monitoring the situation and I see there’s a bug preventing it from syncing the new connections on some users. I’ll update once I know more / once we’ve fixed it

Didn’t work on Android for me got the following error message;

This was the screen I got from truelayer

I didn’t give up though :grinning: tried on iOS and on the first attempt I choose to share current and saving accounts but it failed tried again but this time just picking the current account and it sort of worked. Well, at least it didn’t give any error at Barclays app. Now I am getting this at Emma and no transactions at all from Barclays, feed is empty :upside_down_face:

**Edit:** Hope it gets fixed because I seem to have lost all the subscription record as well :grimacing: Joys of being an early tester :joy:

Hi Antonio,

Exciting stuff! - just done this for Santander and Nationwide. Both of those accounts migrated on the first try! - I think I must be one of the users with the sync issues because it tells me there are no transactions available for the accounts. It was super easy to migrate over to Open Banking - only thing that would simplify the experience a bit would be a notification saying that the migration has occurred, after I’d done the first one I wasn’t sure whether it had worked, so exited the app and opened again to see it was there.

Also, previously the account names were accurate but now their names are the account number sort codes (it’s no bother though, I’ve just manually renamed them).

At the moment my previous connections are currently showing as closed accounts - I guess this will change soon?

Finally, my analytics section of the app isn’t currently loading (I think it was when I first made the migration though).

Hope this helps.

Edit: It now seems to be flicking between analytics working OK and balance accurate, to analytics not working and balance for all of my accounts reading as -0.00. Seems to be changing between these two at the moment.

Thanks for sharing, we are monitoring/checking everything.

I can’t see it :frowning:

The aforementioned appears when trying to connect Nationwide savings account.

It should all be fixed now. You can keep connecting

Unfortunately Nationwide only has Current Accounts and Credit Cards on Open Banking. Savings should come later this year.

I’ll just remove the red card for that

Just upgraded nationwide and my account names have been replaced with AAAAAA XXXXBBBB (where A is sort code and B is last four digits of account number) and my overdraft is showing as £9 more than it actually is on each account.

Looks to be working fine for me - just updated

Hi @antonio thanks for the quick fix. A few things have gone weird like a lot of transections are not in their previously assigned category and a lot of those have #tags disappeared as well.
A few of my subscriptions were not in subscriptions anymore and most bizarre is that some logos have disappeared and some new one (for example Google drive) have appeared.

But it works so we are getting there.

Oh, and just realised one of those accounts I had recategorised as a savings account and on moving to open banking it’s reset it to being listed as a current account. None of those things are a huge issue, but ideally the switch should be entirely seamless without the need to rename/reconfigure to get it back to how it was

Just went ahead and tried to move my Halifax credit card to open banking as well. BIG mistake. I now have two accounts showing for the same card, except the new Open Banking one shows my name for the name of the account, has lost all of my transactions prior to 29 March, and has lost all my categorisations. That’s a real pain so I’m not happy, to be honest :man_shrugging: I asked whether it would negatively affect and was told it would be seamless - this shouldn’t have been rolled out for testing on live accounts it it’s this buggy :frowning: Given that’s two banks and three accounts all showing significant bugs, wiping my history and losing all my categorisation, for obvious reasons there is zero chance I’m going to try to migrate my Natwest accounts…

I also have this issue with Nationwide accounts. I assume this is an issue on their end, though, as my Halifax credit card is displayed with my name. Neither is ideal, though, as it places extra cognitive load on me while viewing my accounts and transactions vs. using the name. Time to see if I can rename the accounts I guess…
