Some feedback from using the new design for a little while now.
The analytics and budget feel like they should be connected often i jump between them so swiping left/right on the page would be nice to switch to them or simply combine them as the budgets can be within the analytics just a button / toggle to swap from the budget chart to the analytics chart. I like having both at glance on the home page but should be combined when clicked on either.
I hate that Face ID needs to be used every time I open the app, a setting which I could turn this off would be ideal as It is an inconvenience when having to raise my phone to just check balances quickly.
The background colour and the while cell colour are too similar it blends in too much simply making the background a bit darker or being able yo choose background colour would be great.
Again it had been mentioned but the new icon design is ugly and much prefer the old design. Its âtoo bubblyâ and small personally cant tell what things are at a glance and again background colour is too similar to the white cell colour. Looks like a alpha version app.
The cash, debit investments section is too large and have to swipe down to seen my budgets and analytics making that whole section smaller by moving the sync, + button to the top next to search would clear space and move everything up.
In budgets using âleft ofâ and âover ofâ rather that -ÂŁ50 or +ÂŁ50 seems a bit silly seems more intuitive using plus and minus rather than text have to read always
Also being able to undo a toggle set while in pro mode when in free mode would be great as that is the way it was when free so being unable to change my rolling budgets as well as seperate rolling budgets per category would be great shopping can be rolling but things like groceries i dont want rolling
I miss that the analytics and budget were combined. I like being able to see the transactions I have not budgeted for all together.
Before it was analytics with the budget bar below the summary. I really liked that because it showed everything. If you look at the budget tab on the new version, you can only see the transactions for categories with a budget so some transactions are missing. Its not the whole picture.
Also the text is white on white background again when adding notes to transactions

I also think itâs important to be able to see if youâve spent in a category not budgeted. Right now this isnât possible unless every category has a budget.
I donât like the new design, itâs so basic whereâs the fun? Managing my money is boring, I need an incentive to do it like a fun interface and to feel like Iâm playing a game. I still use the app for now but it doesnât bring me joy
So hiding our account behind menus is a big set back in my opinion, I want a quick overview of all my accounts, I donât want to have to click each category to get this information.
I donât like the new updateâŚit looks so basic and boring. Itâs annoying that I have to look at analytics and budgeting separately. Anyone have recommendations for other apps like Emma?
I echo @Jmarshallâs comment. I liked having all my accounts in one list and the graph at the top. To do that you now need to click on Net Worth and then unhide the different account categories, which involves more clicks than before.
