What important features are we missing?

I think so, it’s one of the reasons why we want to do web.

Is forecasting still on the radar? (I really like what a certain someone beginning with N is working on. Clever forecasting alerts, plus’s being able to calculate how one-off expenses would affect the future picture)

Yes, this is on the radar and we the committed spending we already have, it can be easily done or at least have an approximation by averaging out the previous 12 months.

We just need to figure out the right formula and move it in analytics.

All sounds great! :raised_hands:

It would be good to be able to automatically update an offline account without creating a rule which looks for a transaction. For example I have put the value of my pension in my offline account. I can’t create a rule because my pension gets taken out of my salary before it hits my account and therefore doesn’t show as a transaction.

Would be good to have a feature on online account which you can just tell it to add X amount each month and then manually adjust the balance when you want for fluctuations in the value? Another all has something which does this but Emma is far superior so I’m sure it can be done (hopefully!)

I guess you mean “recurring offline transaction”.

Yes, this is very easy to do.

Yes that’s a much simpler way of putting it  easy to do so then will I see it in the next update? :eyes:

Ehehe, so right now we are looking at the following:

  • More bank logins, we are adding I think 10+
  • Fixing a lot of bugs in recurring payments
  • Exploring iPad / Web

You are off-topic.

I know “better graphs” keeps cropping up in general - but in particular, I would like to see a much denser resolution of data; on the 3M screen, there’s currently only 12 or so actual data points.

The smoothed line is also sometimes awkward, when a peak doesn’t line up with the data points (so you can’t see the total for the point you’re holding); or sometimes if there’s a huge swing in balance, it takes a few days for it to actually show up on the chart.

Maybe some people find the smoother “big picture” line useful, but I would like to see a more accurate line with no smoothing.

I find Monzo’s balance chart a lot more comfortable in that regard;

Please please please for recurring offline transaction without linking to a synced transaction! I have a few offline accounts which just increase by the same regular payment every month but not via a transaction from my account as come out of salary… but I’m lazy and so instead of popping in the monthly transaction I usually forget and just update the balances every now and again.

Can you comment on the criteria you’ve used to select these? They seem like a good tranche but personally I’m keen for Coventry Building Society. I’m assuming it’s off the just because you think the volumes will be super low?

We add the ones that have Open Banking support.

Fab. I’ll just leave this here:

It would be really useful to get a export of transactions automatically exported to all of the following cloud based services (ProtonDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox).

Ideally following a naming convention like yyyy-mm-dd_001.xlsx

Also adding logic to do this according to smart rules would be really useful.

Finally integration with todoist to do app would be perfect especially if smart rules could alert you to suspicious activity.

Who would love to have an Emma VPN?

Hi, I’m bringing back this idea from April 2019. Apparently it was easy to do… @edoardomoreni

Any chance we can have this simple but convenient fix?

I’d prefer an Emma browser combined, IE if you had £100 and go to spend £60 on “Amazon” then have a forecast after spend with a “Honey” like implementation for Vouchers/Cashback, I don’t personally think a product outside of the orientation of finance would add a USP.
