Personally I’d like the ability to configure the card to show Current, Credit Cards, and Savings (instead of Everyday, Savings, and Investments). I know some people like seeing a figure (Everyday) which represents a combination of current and credit, but I find it more of a hindrance**. I also don’t use Emma to track Investments. I do understand though that it would require extra work to support extra screens.
** Keeping on top of my overall credit card spending is one of the key uses of Emma for me. But at the moment that figure is quite buried (partly because I have several current accounts). If its not possible to offer configuration options for accounts card on the feed, another suggestion is to provide an option to have a collapsed accounts view on the Everyday page. Benefit of this would be so that when I enter the Everyday page I would initially see the overall Current and Credit balances next to each at the top of the page instead of having to scroll down beyond my list of current accounts to get to the Credit balance. I would then tap on Current or Credit to expand the accounts list if I wanted to go into individual accounts.
That would be great, personally I liked a more dense view for the categories and them not sorted by custom or default just all mixed together but thats just preference
TRANSACTIONS LIST - it would be useful to view on the transaction list which transactions have already been allocated to a group (to split expense) rather than have to click on each entry to see which have or haven’t been allocated to a group to be reconciled.
Yes, the feature is in either settings or at the bottom of the feed; update to beta testing to get it sooner on Android. We are rolling it out on the main app as well.
We can take a look; from a first look I am just worried it’d be prone to errors/mistakes. The way total budget is set up in Emma is more to track spending rather than start from income.
