I just meant the sort code is not shown. It only shows the account number.
If you have many different bank accounts, and encounter a transaction, where you have no idea which bank account it originated from - I just want a quick way to identify it.
Hence, either the sort code and account number is shown at the bottom and then you can figure it out; or the more optimal solution would be, by clicking that information, it takes you to the bank account. That’s the feature that would be very helpful and my suggestion.
Commited spending split by each spending category in the budget view (so for example if you look at Subscriptions spending category, would also show your committed spending in this category as well as opposed to just the general committed spending category).
Virtual cards that allow you to spend directly from saving pots. This is a feature with monzo pots (but only if you sign up to monzo plus - that you can set up a virtual card and spend directly from a monzo saving pot. If you could do this with the Emma savings pots i would consider switching these over to the Emma app…)
Recurring payments doesn’t let you set an option for bills by custom frequency…for example, some bills are 10 monthly instead of monthly but no way of setting this on the recurring payments settings…
In the recurring payments tab, could you show the different recurring payments seperately by frequency (i.e under an annual category, monthly etc)
For now I would simply screenshot the receipts in the app, but I will speak to the seem and see if we are able to get this implemented as it would be very useful.
I would really like to be able to add one-off committed spending. Eg, lets say I know I’ll need to pay £160 this month for dental treatment, and £60 for theme park tickets (ie things that I know are going to happen, I know what they’ll cost, but they’re not reoccuring payments).
It would be really useful for staying on budget, to have the daily allowance and amount of budget left reduce accordingly once you’ve inputted the committed payments that you already know about
I would like to be able to assign a transaction to a person, I.e. me/my partner, at the moment I split all transactions and exclude his half. And then even better I’d like to be able to assign a transaction as ‘joint’ and it automatically half it and assign it to us both. My current method works for my budget. But I’d like to be able to track both simultaneously so he can also get the benefit without doubling the work.
Is there any update on when it will be possible to mark categories as excluded? Seems is on the roadmap for next 3 months but doesnt seem to have been an update for a while?
Just to let everyone know - we have implemented VRP to deposit on the Emma wallet from your own bank account; the should come out next week at some point.
Hi team, first of all - thank you for the amazing app and the work you are doing. Your transparency on roadmap and feature requests is also absolutely incredible.
As for the missing feature, it would be great to have transactions that are not only “income” or “expense” on the account, but also “transfer”. In that way users could record transfers (especially between offline accounts by just adding one transaction.
For example, currently if you have an offline savings account and an offline current account, if you are withdrawing a certain sum from savings into a current, you need to record a transaction in one account, move to another category, record the same transaction in your current account.
With this new feature users could keep track of movements between their account swifter.
