Being able to add details to each account e.g. interest rate would be useful.
I think with trading & investing everything is so regulated that wouldn’t be viable
This is definitely in the pipeline!
We’ll look into it!
yes I like this
This would be great!
This would be great to have a live connection for! Currently you can set up credit and mortages as an offline account to still get the full picture of your finances
This is a great suggestion we’ll look into it! Defintitely a worthwhile integration as so many peoples total comp now includes stock!
Just difficult / unstable.
The only problem with this is that we need an FCA authorisation which will apply for in the short / medium term.
Has the team ever thought of having a section for upcoming events? Not recurring payments but stuff like MOT, Road Tax, birthdays, etc where you can set aside money from your budget for that month for that particular event?
I would love for a way to customise net worth like a toggle for the categories if I only want to know my position with accessible assets versus debt.
I’m so very much here for future planning.
Genius idea would be perfect to be able to exclude accounts from net-worth like a emergency fund.
Saving Pots
Apologies if it’s already been mentioned, but it would be good to set up amounts to automatically split across your savings pots based on what you specify, saving you doing it manually.
For example, I have £200 scheduled to arrive on the 1st, and then it splits £50 into one pot, £100 into another, and £50 into the final.
Budgets
It would be good if you could set a budget to the exact amount you needed, for example, £25.50 (instead of only £25 or £26)
This would be great! The closest in the app currently is creating speciifc pots for future events!
Great idea! I’m sure alot of others would find this helpful as well!
Hey Adam,
These are both great suggestions! Thanks for adding them to the thread! We’ll look into those I think they both could be great additions!
This might be a bit niche, but I’d like Emma to track my salary before tax.
This means telling Emma my gross salary, pension contributions and any deductions then being able to see stuff in Emma like:
- Changes in gross salary over time
- Effective tax rate
And, most importantly:
- the value of any salary sacrifices / things I’ve paid for before tax.
The last one if these is what made me want this. I’m paying back a bike I’m paying for via salary sacrifice (the cycle to work scheme basically gives you the bike before income tax) and want to be able to see the value of that in Emma.
I hope that was clear. It’s all a bit niche…
Hey Peter!
This would be an interesting feature! I’m sure this can be applicable for many others who have automatic deductions liek that (student loans etc). This is definitely something worth looking into!
