First subscription is Emma lol. However, it’s paid through Google Pay, so Emma thinks Google Pay is the subscription and every other transaction through it. What have I done wrong?
You’re purchasing from Google App Store (rather than direct from Emma), so the merchant being Google is probably the expected behaviour. I use iPhone so I purchase from Apple App Store and in my case Apple comes up as the merchant.
I think the only way the behaviour could be different is if Emma sold subscriptions direct on their own website.
This is correct - either Google Play and Apple are the merchants for now as subscriptions are charged via the these stores
