Amazon has unveiled a new feature that it’s beta testing that lets you buy things straight from a TV ad on IMDb TV, either through Alexa or your Fire TV remote… Other streaming services are trying out shoppable QR codes that appear while you’re watching TV - both during shows and in ad breaks.
What are your thoughts on e-commerce developments like this? Would you use it?
I think it’s a cool idea, but think it could be a nightmare for anyone partial to impulse spending?!
