I don’t know if I missed it while looking around or if it hasn’t been mentioned anywhere, but will there ever be an option to add more than just BTC and ETH to our accounts to track?
If I need to save up for something specific, and don’t want to use my ISA to do it, does Emma support that? Like, say I wanted to save up for an Apple Watch, for example - is it possible to make a catergory, call it Watch or Savings or Tech Budget or whatever, and transfer say £50 or £100 to it semi-regularly, until I had enough money to buy the watch ( or anything else that’s not tens or hundreds of thousands but which is a bit pricey to just come out of a normal weeks budget)?
I mean, I do have an ISA but that’s not really the same thing IMO
Hey,
We do not have this feature at the moment because we are not really a bank, but know knows maybe in the future
We are looking into this, but don’t have any news yet.
Alright. It’d be cool if you guys did Thank you for answering. I appreciate it.
What currencies would you like to see?
Thanks. I’ve realised that my bank allows me up to five “saving pot” accounts, so I have set one up for just my “pocket money” or money I can just blow on whatever (provided there is enough in the account).
I don’t know what I hadn’t realised my bank had this feature
Which bank is this?
It’s the Halifax
Hi there,
I’m new to Emma and have a quick question. I would like to be able to see at a glance which recent transactions I have added tags to (or not) and in which category they sit (so I can easily determine if they need updating). Ideally within each transaction line item (a small category icon and note of #hashtags perhaps?). Is there somewhere I can see this? Am I just being really stupid?!
Thanks!
Hi @Stacey1,
best way for categories is Analytics tab. For tags, you can check these either in What Did I spend or top left corner of the Accounts tab.
We are considering to make categories a bit more evident in the all transactions list, so you can actually see them, instead of the logo. That would be a great output.
Hi there
I am new to Emma. Getting to grips with it so far.
I would quite enjoy to see my yearly spend on a certain category for a particular year. Is that possible?
Also is there any plans to have a pie chart view of category spend? That can for example be on the home screen for that particular pay period, but you can also go to analytics and view the category spend for a defined period of time (last week, last month, last 6 months, beginning of time) much like your ‘what did I spend’ feature.
Thinking of it… a pie chart for what did I spend feature that you already have on hashtags would be really cool.
EDIT: also, are there any plans to include Marcus and Moneybox in the Account view?
Not new to Emma - just returning. I’m having a problem linking my Lloyds accounts. The process begins - opens my Lloyds app - allows me to select my accounts, then crashes. Same behaviour each time.
Any ideas please?
Hey @Graham, welcome back
Thanks for letting us know about the problem you’re having with Lloyds. Can you reach out to the live chat function we have on the app? (Go to More > Support)
