Maybe not quite the right thread, but I just reconnected to Halifax and can now see all my Savings accounts with them, which is nice! Halifax has clearly decided to include all their savings in open banking - :crossed_fingers: that others follow suit

Hi, new user, looking for an integration with Intelligent Finance, owned/operated by Halifax or Bank of Scotland.

Cheers,

Jonathan

Oh, don’t want to spoil it, but it seems like NewDay has done a bit of fixes in their API. MoneyDashboard now keeps getting data, without the need to re-authenticate each time.

Still give an error on mobile, referring to Azure Web App, that doesn’t exist.

Let’s see how it goes.

Maybe it is time to resume attempt to bring this integration?

Thanks.

NewDay works for me completely now (even authenticating through the app) on Yolt and MoneyDashboard Neon.

But Emma is the app I really want to connect to (only have the others really as a backup / for extra connections).

Please say they are in touch with you

Hi @farbow,

Welcome to the community!

I am just a user like you, but I think the issue with Intelligent Finance is that the brand is closed to new business, and has been for a while, so it has few customers.

I suspect that the Emma team may therefore not be inclined to support it, as it would be all the same effort as adding any bank but for relatively few users. It will be the same story with other aggregators too, I think.

Honestly I would suggest that you use a different bank if you want API access, and maybe keep your Intelligent Finance account alongside it if you want. Then just gradually start using your other account on a day to day basis.

Hi @seb,

Thanks for taking the time to respond and to highlight the problem with Intelligent Finance.

I will have to do without this account in my Emma setup but cannot transfer away from it until the mortgage linked to it is paid off!

Cheers

Hopefully it won’t be too much longer before this is in Emma :crossed_fingers::crossed_fingers:

Emma Pro now has manual accounts plus smart rules, which you can use to keep pretty close track of a mortgage account.

I thought it might be something like this keeping you!

You could always use another account for day to day spending, and keep the Intelligent Finance account just for the mortgage. That way, almost everything would be automatically in Emma (and, if you really wanted to, you could use Emma Pro to create manual accounts for the rest as @Gaoler says.)

This is missing from my portfolio too and is my back up Mastercard, where Amex not accepted.

Trying to sort issue with Barclaycard Platinum not connected atm too. (Have started a live chat)

Hey @jack0590

Welcome to the Emma Community! :rocket:

We would love to have Moneybox, but they don’t have an open API.

If you go onto the Emma app and click on investments and then Moneybox you can tweet them to tell them that they should make their API public haha
