It would be very useful to be able to split transactions using different methods. Instead of inputting absolute values, using percentage or shares.
My use case: I’m a big user of Splitwise to track expenses with friends. Splitwise has multiple ways to split a transaction. The ones I use the most are shares (e.g. 2 shares for my, 1 for a friend and 4 to another).
I have a Splitwise category in Emma and, when splitting the transactions, I have to keep calculating the values manually.

Just wanted to bring this back up. Would be great for Emma to develop Splitwise functionality in app!
What I want to be able to calculate bills in Emma for friends where I’ve paid for something and they owe their share. If the goal is to have Emma as THE App people use to manage their spending this functionality needs to be in a long term road map.

I think that’s a good start. But I tried out the Emma Groups and it’s still very limited. It doesn’t let us, for example, customize how we split the transaction (e.g. percentage, shares, custom values, etc). It only let’s us split equally, which is very limiting for us to actually use these groups.
If these groups get custom split options, I might actually start using it frequently for my expenses with my partner.
It would finally allow me to stop splitting transactions and adding custom categories to keep track of these transactions.
