Any chance you could come up with a better mechanism for people to opt into beta testing? As a forum user, getting a new post indicator on a thread I’m tracking just because someone has posted an Emma.to link is a bit annoying.
Perhaps use a google form (or similar) for people to log interest in being a tester?
