Emma 3.0 Designs

It does indeed. Thanks.

Visually looks much better.

Structure wise I’m still getting used to it but I think I’ll end up liking it.

I think this has been raised before but losing the progress bars on the budget categories is a big loss, something glanceable really needs to be added back.

Syncing feels incredibly slow.

Agreed! This was a good feature.

Ah yes, I agree on the accounts / credit card feedback too. I expect the vast majority of people using Emma and keeping an eye on their finances will be paying off credit cards in full, via direct debit, and shifting ā€˜spare’ cash into investments.

This means seeing both current accounts and credit card balances on a single screen is important to easily keep track whether cash needs to be shifted around.

Ok, I see the networth tab works for that, although you have to tap twice to expand the sections.

Minor Request the icons for the different categories the colour changes seem to be simply too similar and too small to glance at. Could we possibly increase the icon size and remove the circle that borders it and simply have the icon next to that transaction.

I also do think within the budgets section the budget values could be a far bigger size like it was previously seems far smaller now not a fan.

Also have a bug with my transactions appearing as doubles both in pending and completed and the pending does not seem to want to be removed once the transaction is completed.

I also miss the feature in which it would say how many days were left until my next payday this would be a nice addition somewhere small on the home screen.

Like new clean design, including removal of graph at top. Please do not reinstate that as per some feedback.

Totals please.

Is this update UK only? I am a US user and I still do not see it. My IOS app is updated to the latest available on the store. My referral link is emma.to/arunr

You don’t think when you tap Cash, Debt, or Investments a graph should be available like when you tap Net Worth? How could this not be helpful?

Nope, I found it to be unnecessary eye candy, not telling me anything useful and a bit confusing, just taking up space. I prefer the cold hard numbers.

This was designed, we just didn’t have time (the app is not fully out yet) - we are going to add it back.

Tap twice? This shouldn’t be the case.

I mean you have to open networth, tap to expand the current section and tap to expand the credit card section. Two more taps than before (I think?).

I agree on this.

Can you message live chat with a screenshot?

You have it now.

In theory, we have a design for this.

At first, we removed it cause the graphs were a bit useless (wrong/lacking data).

I think the best way to do current - credit card is true balance in the current account.
