Hello Emma Team,
Any update on when (and whether) the year to date analytics feature will be available. Your app is very good but its disappointing that a year to date analytics feature is not available.
Also, budgets should be allowed to set as monthly or yearly. Its not always necessary that expenses recur monthly… some are annual or half yearly.
By the way, both features are available in the Spendee App.

Year to date analytics - In the Analytics tab. Currently, its monthly and there is no option to shift to yearly or custom.

One thing I did like about Spendee was the nice little analytics it would randomly give you, eg. “you usually spend £x each month over the last 3 months and have £x left over” or “You are spending around £x a month on groceries based on the last x months”.
Even had one saying “Normally people need x% of their outgoings to cover emergencies, we think you might need to save £x per month to reach that”
I agree 
For me, the only analytics that I really want is the year to date. I was always able to have that with my previous app.
Is there any way of doing it?
