Still waiting on a T212 integration. I’ve already been able to link my Coinbase portfolio but it sucks that I can’t see my stocks value in Emma. This last feature is all it’ll take to make Emma my financial mission control.

Thanks Sam, Trading212 doesn’t currently offer an API, so there isn’t much to connect to.

Further, our whole team has been focused on building an investment platform. You should be able to buy and sell stocks in Emma next month.

Thanks Edoardo for your quick response. I look forward to trying out Emma’s trading platform offering. I hope that it won’t be locked behind a paywall and such things.

100% Trading it’s one of the most ‘fintech’ type of grading platforms out there surprised it’s not already setup

Hi, do we have any news on Emma trading platform yet pls? Integration with Trading 212 would be preferred by most users, but I suppose Emma has no incentive there if it’s building it’s own trading platform

As EMMA does not have an ISA account I prefer to use trading212 as the features are better, moneyhub is able to connect with trading212 so there has either been an update to the API or they are able to connect therefore I think it would be great if this could be pushed ahead.

@Connor is there any chance of trying to contact Trading212 and develop the integration as even though EMMA offers a platform now i’d still like to see my portfolio in the app

Sorry, but at this time, we don’t have any plans to work on an integration with Trading212.

As Edoardo mentioned before, the team has been focused on building and improving our own investment platform, so we don’t have the resources right now to integrate other investment platforms into Emma.

Any changes to the plan on this? Appreciate Emma now have their own trading proposal, however they don’t cover anywhere near the range or stock options, and with trading 212 now offering 4.5% interest on cash balances, makes it a much more appealing offer

Its probably just to do with trading212 not having an openbanking connection currently as far as im aware?

The way we think about this is quite simple:

  1. 12 months ago we wouldn’t have done it cause of Emma Invest

  2. Now that we have limits on bank logins, there is an incentive

but the issue is they don’t have an API and it’s not as popular as you think.

At this point, you can upgrade to Emma Ultimate, trade with a 12bps FX fee (and no other fees) and earn 4.34% AER on Easy Access Pots.

This is cheaper than Freetrade (Freetrade Plus) and if you want to track Trading212, you can create an offline account.

As always, when investing your capital is at risk.

The interest on uninvested cash is probably a missing factor to bring more people over.

For me emma just doesnt offer any vanguard etfs yet which is all i invest in. Not tryna be the be a trader boring is what i like

Im sure they will just waiting for that point then make a switch, i also only invest in an isa so once both those things are available i might make the switch

Trading212 are about to launch a debit card with cashback on all spending. I’m earning 5.2% daily interest on savings with Trading212.

With these added features, it would be great to have Trading212 integration as it will become my main spending account and saving account.
