Can I vote we don’t have this? Or if we must, hide it on a tab that I never have to look at?
(Sorry, I know some will love it, but I never got along with Snoop for that reason).

What gives you the impression you have to vote on anything?
Don’t take offence at a different point of view. It’s just an opinion.
I’m not offended, going straight for a label is tad extreme, this is an open forum for everyone to talk about said topics, if you don’t understand the concept of a social network then you’re in the wrong place my friend.
just got the impression you thought it was an actual vote for a feature, you seemed panicked, I then asked you a question.
Excellent!
We now have two balanced opinions and others can add theirs.
Good conversation.
Come on guys, raising the tone about “saving tips” in an app.
Just to add to this, something I do really like in Snoop (which just made me reconnect my accounts for now!) is the ability to store when certain products/contracts run out. I know this is for their ability to offer comparison services and make money, but I often find it impossible to find contract end dates for services (TV and Broadband services actively avoid telling you), so given you have comparison services on Emma this could be a mutually beneficial service. I’ve also found it very useful for storing dates for when 0% interest products end on credit cards.
Hey Dave,
yes this is something we have noticed and might consider adding in the short term.
I am not convinced there is large adoption or people use it though? If I had to input my end dates, I’d need to start looking everywhere (no idea).
At the moment, I put the end date in the account name, but it’s not ideal (the account names get partially hidden). Personally, I think having an “Account details” section/screen or whatever, where you could add notes etc., would be useful for many reasons.
Thanks Edoardo,
I think this is my point though, at least having a place to store it (e.g. in the app) means you don’t have to find it again, and you can add it when creating a new contract in the future. Especially when you can create functionality in the app for reminders and similar, if that makes sense?
Yes, I think we’ll do it.
Great, thanks for listening. I’ve just had to renew our Sky contract after it ended and have an extra chunk added to this month’s bill as I couldn’t find the end date anywhere in their app or paperwork. I chased up our broadband which I managed to find out finishes in a month, so again, having something to remind me would be great. I also have multiple 0% credit cards which I’m putting savings aside to pay off, and have used the saving goal date for these in the app, but it’s far from perfect and I could easily forget. Plus, as I say, you can offer comparison/cashback services for these and help complement income by reminding customers and offering the service. Win-win
I’d find this particularly useful for financial products like savings accounts and mortgages that have fixed rates etc.
Maybe something in recurring payments for transaction level stuff like broadband and in accounts for things like mortgages, savings and loans?
This is a great suggestion I think alot of people would feel the same way not knowing forsure when a fixed rate ends!
