With the new rolling budget logic i feel like it would be great if there was an option if you went over your set budget for the month to cancel rollovers into the next month or to split the excess spend into “non essential” categories total budgets to drop those down so that going forward you can get back on track.
Example
Total budget = £1000
Total spent = £1150
This month
Shopping = £200/£50
Entertainment =£25/£50
Total non essential budget = £225/£100
Therefore £125 over split this between the two by the ratio of budgets so next months budgets are
Next 3 months to get back on track
Shopping = £25
Entertainment =£25
So intelligently decreasing budgets to pull back on spending in specific categories.
