Freetrade Discussion & Feedback

I was also wondering if the orders are instant - with Freetrade basic, you need to wait till 3pm.

You can do Fractional
They are instant only when US Stock market is Open (after 2 PM UK time), from the good side it seems displayed price is the price you get (what not always is the case on freetrade).

I saw Roadmap of Revolut for Trading:

I would say that the biggest advantage of freetrade other then already mentioned ISA is having more practical GUI with categories grouping stocks, like “Technology”, “Finance” etc. While revolut at this moment just shows all of them in alphabetical order

What I don’t like about Freetrade is “search” - I mean I find really difficult to navigate through the stocks. It would be nice to have a very powerful search tool for research.

Current downside of Revolut is absence of ETFs which is in their roadmap. And ETFs are very good for beginners since you are already investing in a portfolio rather than ‘just well-known brands’ which one might think is a good start

Maybe take a look at Trading 212.

Yeah, I have been told - currently stuck at the KYC.
