Filtering by category in analytics

Loving the recent updates with subcategories and excluded categories with pro. These changes now mean analytics has become way more useful.

I find it great that I can use the quick filters in analytics to select only some accounts, like my credit cards, to see day to day spending. It would be great if we had a similar filter to exclude/include categories, to answer questions like “what does my spending this year look like if I exclude spending on holidays”, “what if I stopped all these streaming subscriptions” etc

I think we can take a look at this and potentially build it right away; we have a similar toggle in the list of transactions not to show the excluded.

That just toggles excluded on/off - I mean a selector similar to the one for accounts, that lets me deselect specific categories. For example, if I want to exclude a big holiday or a new car, I could exclude those categories and then compare spending this year vs last to see if I’m spending more or saving money.

Just want to give a +1 here - being able to filter analytics graphs by category would be extremely useful. As an example, I’m self-employed, and I’d like to be able to see my spending over the year without considering the “Tax” category.
