Is there a recording on the Crowdcube webinar please?

Hey @DanRoos

We’re just waiting for the recording from crowdcube - I’ll share it on here as soon as we have it

Is there any financial documentation available describing the structure of the deal? Shares outstanding, income statement, valuation etc., or is it all coming next week?

Hey @DanRoos - more info will be coming soon! :raised_hands:

In the meantime, we caught up with a lead investor in Emma’s seed round to discuss what makes Emma so unique, why the team is key to our success, and what he thinks the future holds for Emma!

You can check it out here :point_right: https://twitter.com/emma_finance/status/1401856468119400461

Thanks Rebekah!

Doing a bit of DD as id be super excited to join Emma on your journey. Mentioned crowdfunding at the user meet in 2019, and really stoked you decided to go down this route for us enthusiasts to join in.

I am getting a bit worried about Crowdcube though after reading Google and Trustpilot reviews. Many people leaving witnessing of issues with getting money upon selling shares on Crowdcube. Also their email marketing seems impossible to turn off (less of a concern).

Do you guys have any information that can alleviate my concern with going via them? I would hate that an opportunity like this would fall on the platform choice :frowning:

Crowdfunding news :mega:

During the ramp up to our first ever crowdfunding round we’ve been approached by an interesting strategic investor. For this reason, we have decided to postpone our launch date to work through the details.

Offering this opportunity to our community is our no.1 priority so we want to make sure we’ve finalised this conversation before launching the round so we can give you our full focus and attention.

Don’t forget to signup to @Crowdcube, so you are good to go once the campaign is live!

They have just launched Cubex for secondary sales, so the process should be straightforward. What concerns have you found?

My main concern was seeing a few comments of people not getting their money back when trying to realise their investment after an exit event, and lots of complaints of customer service post investment. Had a look at the couple of reviews on this search:

Done a bit of further reading of positive reviews too now though, and I’m a bit more at ease  Seems to be a small minority that have had issues, one with payment transfers to the US, which I suppose is understandable.

Awesome! Yes, people in North America are not allowed to join.

By the way, the crowdfunding is happening on the 22nd of June! :rocket:

Pre-register now to get early access: Emma is crowdfunding!

Is there still the same allocation for the crowdfunding raise? Or has the ‘interesting strategic investor’ taken some? Thanks

Yes, all good and we have £5m allocated for EIS.

We are going to share our transparent product roadmap tomorrow, but since you are active on the community you can check it here before anyone else: LINK.

The roadmap looks really good, but also really ambitious!

I hope you are able to pull off everything during the timeframes.

Disappointed that if I do invest, I won’t be getting any swag as it’s more than I was thinking of investing! As this is your first crowdfund, are you planning to do crowdfunding as a yearly thing?

We will make it!

We might consider this further down the line as a way to grow our community! We currently have the SWAG at £1k, but there are other perks at £100 and £500. :rocket:
