New Sim Deals šŸ“±

You can buy 1GB and 5GB add ons separately

Only because the industry is so sclerotic thereā€™s no differentiationā€¦ It doesnā€™t have to be this way!

I actually have 2GB.

I am already half way through the period and have used 200mb of data.

Just went on the compare SIMs bit on Emma and looks like I can get the same data that Iā€™m on now with Three for only Ā£8pm, not Ā£12pm! Wonder if I can try and switch before my contract ends in Jan?

4GB on my deal. I think 2 or 2.5 is the current offer.

Like @rebekah, I use less than 1GB data per month anyway.

Theyā€™ll almost certainly sting you for ending early.

Rolling monthly deals are the way forward IMO

Agreed.

I have been on monthly rolling contracts for over 2 years now and love the freedom (of movement) it brings.

Iā€™m on 30GB for Ā£10 with Smarty. Havenā€™t had any issues with them, however, they donā€™t offer great roaming rates when outside the EU

Gahh ok! Not too long until my 12 month contract ends at least

Three have been amazing for this - being able to use my data for free in most of South America was an absolute dreeeeam. But 30GB for Ā£10 is a steal!

Managed to get a Ā£10 a month deal with Vodafone. I was going to leave Vodafone as worked out could get better deal. Was paying Ā£26 and got Spotify Premium (can also get NowTV, Sky Sports on mobileā€¦) for ā€œfreeā€. Figured if I got deal from somewhere like Three for about Ā£12, still save money even if I just buy Spotify separately.

Get 10Gb data which is fine for me - unlimited mins and text. But one thing you donā€™t get is roaming - where you pay Ā£5 a day to use your data allowance while abroad in a load of different countries. I just went for that offer - I donā€™t travel much normally and especially not now!!

Definitely. Especially when Virgin are inevitably down and I have to hotspot or when I want to watch a film/show while Iā€™m not at home :joy:

It just sucks you canā€™t use WiFi on the underground (I found this out pre-lockdown, so itā€™s less of an issue now).
