Money Saving Tips 🤑

Hey everyone!

Wanted to make a post where we all share our favourite money saving tips and tricks to help each other out.

Doesn’t have to be strictly linked to the Emma App, just anything that has helped you save money.

For me, it has to be: “Buy it nice or buy it twice!”

I’ve found long term when I cheap out on quality I usually end up needing to re-buy certain products.

Let me know what your best tips are, maybe we can all learn something!

Not overpaying for mobile SIMs.

There are 4 main networks in the UK. o2, EE, Vodafone, and Three. Everyone else is an MVNO and are “piggy backing”.

Some are even owned by the networks themselves and offer lower prices to cater to more budget conscious customers. For example, Talkmobile is owned by Vodafone (and uses the Vodafone network).

However you can find deals not available on the providers website by using tools such as Martin Lewis’ Money Saving Expert SIM finder.

For an unlimited data sim, Talkmobile sells it 12mo contract only for ÂŁ32.

However using the Money Saving Expert tool, it shows a deal not available on Talkmobile site at ÂŁ16 for 30 day rolling.

Very easy way to save some cash on SIMs

it’s crazy how inflated the prices are directly from the sites isn’t it
