How do I use Emma to reconcile my bank statements

I am (very) new to Emma, having been a long user of MS Money. Whilst Money gave me everything that I need, I felt it was high time to switch to a more comprehensive app.
So, and please excuse me if this is a stupid question, but how do I reconcile my bank statements?

I have spent days trying to find the answer, without any real success. I hope that this is an easy thing to do, but would greatly appreciate someone walking me through the process.

We don’t currently have a way to reconcile like an accounting software; how come you are looking for this feature?

We were thinking to introduce an “unread” status, so customers can review any new transactions; but it’s not currently in the pipeline.
