This has been designed and we’ll be released soon.
We are going to add it in Search, Analytics and Budgeting.
Hello, any news on a release date for this? I do all my category edits from the Analytics screens so it would be super useful.
Have just realised its only possible to bulk edit from the Transactions and Account screens.
I agree that it would also be useful to also have via Search and Analytics. These are the places from which I’m probably most likely to want to bulk edit.
Yes this is coming
Is there any update on this? I constantly find myself needing to bulk edit transactions from the search screen, but this is still not possible…
This seems like a simple feature to be implemented in the UI… Is there an ETA for it? Can you share what are the blockers/challenges?
Thanks!
Hey @ggavena,
I am not sure what screens you are referring to?
We have just added it in Search, you just need to tap the return button on your keyboard to close it and you’ll see an edit button there.
The same functionality is present in:
Oh, wow that’s awesome!
I’m sorry, but I didn’t see it…
I guess there might be some nit picking feedback on the UI, since you have to hide the keyboard to see the button on the lower right.
I would expect the bulk edit button to be on the top-right (maybe appear on the side of the cancel button of the search).
Either way, thanks for adding this!
@edoardomoreni just to double check: this doesn’t work on Emma Web, right? I’ve been using it in the past couple of days and I love it! It’s a more convenient way for me to quickly go over my finances, than to use the phone
Yes, we spent a good month figuring out where to place this functionality; it’s a bit tricky on the search screen.
We’ll build this for web too.
