App version number: in-app vs app store

I’ve noticed there is a discrepancy between the app version number I see in the app and the version number shown in the App Store.

For example, currently (for iOS):

In-app (settings page): 4.3.1
App Store: 4.2.9

Is this discrepancy normal?
If yes, why does it exist?

Yes, this was intended behaviour.

However, I can see the confusion - we can check if this can be moved to the app store version. :slight_smile:
