Plum Integration

Hi there.

I would really like Plum to be added. It works really well with Monzo.

Also thinking of getting a Marcus account

It’s such a huge part of my financial portfolio it feels like i’m nearly incompatible with Emma regardless how helpful I find it

Hey @gwenzielz

Welcome to the Emma Community and thanks for your suggestion!

We don’t have any eta at the moment for integrating with Plum, but I’ll share any news as soon as I have it! :crossed_fingers:

Hi! - is there any likelihood of integrating Plum?
Many thanks

We are building automated savings in Emma, so zero.

Will you be adding Funds to the stocks already there? If so, any timeline?
Many thanks

We are not actively working on funds, but since this is a plum thread, I can share we’ll be releasing automated saving next month.

But Plum also offers pensions and investing in individual stocks. Why not integrate at least to allow us to track these? It’d be akin to efforts to add e.g. Vanguard, Fidelity, etc.

We offer this too?

Plum doesn’t provide an API to link to them; so we don’t have a way to integrate.

Would love to see Plum integrated. It’s a shame it’s not possible.

I’d like to see Plum being integrated as well so we can track our savings and other financial activities on there.

Hi @zahasman,

thanks for suggesting this!

I think, in the case of plum, offline accounts are the best way to move forward; they don’t really have any requirements to build an API.

I picked up a Plum Cash ISA a year back as a best buy recommendation. The fragmentation of consumer banking with the growth of fintech providers seems to be a challenge for Emma. Increasingly consumers are jumping from best buy to best buy, taking advantage of switching bonuses and the like. If an ‘all your money in one place’ business model like Emma’s can’t cope with the additional accounts then I’m starting to question if it’s worth having. If I have to work increasingly with manual accounts I’m going to question what my subscription is for/worth and be thinking I might be better going back to spreadsheets and downloads.

I’ve used Plum saving app for years and have just got Emma - if they can be integrated it would be the best thing ever!

If it becomes complicated that Emma can’t integrate and therefore doesn’t recognise the other savings I make/have, I may have to leave Emma

Hi @Hannah97,

thanks for posting!

For Plum, the best solution at this point is offline accounts: Create offline accounts | Emma App
