Manually add future transactions

Not sure if this has been requested before, but I would love to be able to add one off transactions I know are happening this month so they are deducted from my budget.

Currently it is the beginning of the month, I have a budget (say £1k) but I know in 2 weeks time I’m getting my hair cut and that will be £50, and my dog has a vet appointment this month and that will be £200.
I’d like to be able to add these one off future transactions so they are deducted from my budget so I know I really only have £750 (£1000 - £50 - £200) left to spend this month and hence ensures I don’t overspend.

Then when the actual transaction happens, I can remove the placeholder.

Has anyone else thought this would be useful?

You can do this with an offline account, offline transactions can be future dated. You need a Pro subscription.

This is actually the approach used by dozens, so they might be of interest.

We were thinking to add a forecast functionality in the product which could work better for everyone.

@Greg’s suggestion is probably the best way to do this (just remember to delete the transaction afterwards).
