Have you heard of the term Generation Rent?
I’ve only recently been made aware of this - it basically describes anyone aged between 18-40 who has been priced out of the housing market. (Unable to buy and having to pay a large percentage of their income towards rent)
Apparently, 59% of people in Generation Rent believe they won’t ever be able to afford to buy a house
