National Insurance Potential Increase By 1.25%

The Prime Minister and Chancellor have discussed a 1.25% hike in National Insurance contributions and this is likely to be announced this coming week. This hike is in hopes to generate an additional £10 billion a year for the NHS and social care.

This increase is likely to hit earners on lower incomes in the UK the hardest.

What are your thoughts? Is this the best move for the government to make?
