Autosave on Everyday balance

I would rather the autosave feature looked at everyday balance rather than my cash position or whatever it looks at.

Can we have this as an option. I find it’ll autosave even if that puts my everyday balance into negative territory. Kind of defeats the point a bit.

Thanks,

Neil

Hi @neil-r,

the autosave looks at your true balance for the account you have selected to autosave from; so it should be close to what you are referring to. The everyday balance is an aggregate of multiple accounts so it might not be that accurate? I might have credit cards in the every day that are re-paid from other accounts that I don’t autosave from?

Thanks for the reply!

I put as much spending as I can through CCs - for rewards mostly. I pay them off each month.

But that means I can have something like £8k in my funding account and £6k on credit cards. The everyday balance is reaaally useful because it gives me the net balance. But what I would like to save every week is very different if I had net £8k vs £2k. And this gets more apparent as my everyday gets close to zero. It’s not uncommon for me to go negative which reminds me I need to pay myself from my limited company.

I end up turning autosave off when I get close to zero because it might want to take several hundred off to savings which doesn’t make sense for me.

Might be niche but for anyone using CCs this way I think it would be useful.

Thanks!
