I hope this isn’t posted somewhere else, however it would make sense (to me anyway) if Emma could differentiate between “Everyday” Credit Card(s) and those with a balance (Debt) - that you may use on balance transfer deals/paying for large costs and repaying over time - loan style categorisation.

For my case for example, I use two cards - Amex and Monzo Flex (for places that do not take Amex) - the setup as is works great for this, budgeting, payments excluded from analytics.

It gets muddied with credit cards with an ongoing balance, where the payments made monthly are like a bill, chipping away at a debt.

My strong preference would be to have cards as ‘loan’ in a separate category - they are by definition a longer term tool than the current account so showing the credit card as if it’s an overdraft needing immediate attention is just wrong. From a cash flow persp…

Maybe this topic should be merged - seems the same issue.

Hey @mrchrisbrogan,

have you considered moving the cards with a balance into the Loans section? You should be able to do this in the app. In this way, they don’t clutter Everyday but still count in net worth.

I do this, but it’s just a work around rather than an actual solution.
