# Christmas Budget?

Hey everyone!

Now we approach the xmas season, I wanted to ask if any of you have successfully budgeted in preparation for the expenses that come with the season.

Personally, I haven’t been very sensible and don’t have Christmas money set aside so I shall simply have to wing it.

But if you have been smarter with your money, let me know what strategies you’ve implemented, whether it be Round Ups, Emma Pots etc

Next year I’ll throw £50-£100 a month into a Christmas Emma Pot!

It’s a post about Christmas so I have to answer🎄

I put money into a pot monthly when a get paid. In October I switched to a new pot called ‘Next Christmas’ and stated added to that pot. I am now spending the money in my original Christmas’ pot. I rename them each October.

I move money from my pot into the main account in chucks and update my monthly Christmas budget by the same amount to track spending during Oct, Nov and Dec.
