When editing tags on multiple transactions, the behaviour is to overwrite any existing tags on all selected transactions and replace with the tag(s) that are edited. Sometimes this is what I want to do, but more often what I’d like to do is keep the existing tag(s) and add another one.

I would like to see a prompt when you select bulk edit \> tags \> to ask which of these two options you want applied this time.

If I had to just pick one of those two behaviours, I think the second one is preferable over the current functionality, because you could still achieve the first in a two step process of first blanking out the tags on all selected transactions and then setting new ones.

However the other way around doesn’t have a good work around - there is currently no way to add one new tag to the existing tags if the selected transactions don’t already all have identical tags. If they don’t, you have to edit them in smaller batches where they do match to achieve what I described above.
